Christian Wedding Reflection

I feel really blessed whenever I attend Christian weddings. Most specially if it's my close friends' wedding...

Like what I told P. Euge and Osie earlier when we had our short chit-chat: Sa Christian wedding ko lang nararamdaman na welcome talaga si Lord, na acknowledge ang presence Nya, at alam mong ordained and blessed by Him ang event. Kaya sobrang nakaka-bless.

And besides, mali talga na parang "extra" lang si Lord sa isang wedding since Sya author nun...

"The LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him." -Genesis 2:18

"Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior... Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her..." -Ephesians 5:22. 23, 25

...Going back to P.Euge and Osie's wedding, John and I were so blessed that night! The Lord was welcomed and actively involved eh... As in! Nakakaiyak rin (sa tuwa) kung paano nagprovide si Lord for my two dearest bunsos! Sobra talaga Nyang gracious, loving, faithful and He gives without finding fault sa Kanyang mga anak...

At kaya naman, kami rin ni John, yun ang pinagpe-pray namin for our big day-- that we will honor God, make His presence felt and point our guests to Him as we also have the desire to share the Gospel on that day... At sana kung anuman ang mapag-planuhan pa it will be according to His will. Basta we want His name to be lifted up on our special day...

Excited!!! ;-)

(Disclaimer: Matagal pa po yun. Nag-iipon pa kami at hinahanda pa kami ni Lord spiritually and emotionally. Hehehe.)
