Built To Last
It was really a privilege to be a part of it- Built To Last Discipleship Conference - Nov 13-14, 2009.
I was so blessed and was really ministered to in a super-duper personal way...
Right now, I am just still in awe kung paano ginamit ng Panginoon si Rev. Edmund Chan (including the workshop facilitators: Dra. Yoyit Roldan and Rev. BJ Sebastian and the the Praise and Worship time) to speak to me in a manner wherein HIS message was really resounding! I was empowered, awakened, rebuked, encouraged, affirmed and challenged!
The next step for me is the doing what was told... To obey His instruction!

Stability...
This is just very timely... Since may mga IMPORTANT and CRITICAL na mga bagay-bagay ang ni-re-reveal sa akin ang Panginoon these past few weeks (or past month?)...
Uhmm, saka ko na ishe-share ang mga detalye. Eto muna---
"Stability is the mark of a mature Christian"
God has given us peace so that we can be stable even in the midst of hard times. In John 14:27, Jesus says, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives."
In this verse, Jesus tells us that He has left us his peace. Jesus' peace, however, isn't like the world's peace, which depends on your circumstances; rather, God's peace is internal. God's peace allows believers to be stable even in the midst of hard circumstances, difficult trials, and uncertain times.
It's no wonder Paul said that he could be content, i.e. stable, in all circumstances: "I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want." (Philippians 4:11-12). What was Paul's "secret"? "I can do everything through him who gives me strength" (Philippians 4:13).
The key to contentment and stability is living in, through, and with God in everything. Like Paul, a mature Christian is able to remain content and stable in all circumstances.

Rebuked
Jonah 4 (New American Standard Bible)
Jonah's Displeasure Rebuked
1But it greatly displeased Jonah and he became angry.
2He prayed to the LORD and said, "Please LORD, was not this what I said while I was still in my own country? Therefore in order to forestall this I fled to Tarshish, for I knew that You are a gracious and compassionate God, slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness, and one who relents concerning calamity.
3"Therefore now, O LORD, please take my life from me, for death is better to me than life."
4The LORD said, "Do you have good reason to be angry?"
5Then Jonah went out from the city and sat east of it. There he made a shelter for himself and sat under it in the shade until he could see what would happen in the city.
6So the LORD God appointed a plant and it grew up over Jonah to be a shade over his head to deliver him from his discomfort. And Jonah was extremely happy about the plant.
7But God appointed a worm when dawn came the next day and it attacked the plant and it withered.
8When the sun came up God appointed a scorching east wind, and the sun beat down on Jonah's head so that he became faint and begged with all his soul to die, saying, "Death is better to me than life."
9Then God said to Jonah, "Do you have good reason to be angry about the plant?" And he said, "I have good reason to be angry, even to death."
10Then the LORD said, "You had compassion on the plant for which you did not work and which you did not cause to grow, which came up overnight and perished overnight.
11"Should I not have compassion on Nineveh, the great city in which there are more than 120,000 persons who do not know the difference between their right and left hand, as well as many animals?"
