Happy tears

Nakakatuwa talaga si God.

His timing is really PERFECT! Walang palya…

Just when I thought nagkulang ako sa pagminister sa isang taong ito, just when I thought bad testimony kasi ako and I failed God…

He encouraged me and affirmed me that I’ve done what has to be done and He saw that. And that He sees little things I do that the world doesn’t even know I do, nor do they know it exists…

Thank You God for that quick and sweet chat with her.

Thank You that I heard from her the words I never thought I would hear before she leaves—Thank you Rajsh!—ayan na naiiyak na ako!

…Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. –Matthew 6:4
…Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. –Matthew 6:6
…but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. –Matthew 6:18

For now, my reward is His Words of affirmation through her. Thank You, God! I'm just overjoyed and really feel loved by You...

Thank you too, dear.. I will really miss you! I will keep you in my prayers...

Love... with all your...

“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”

Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”  -Matthew 22:36-40

Still llistening to God...

I think might update this post some other time once what He want me to learn (need to learn something new as He has been stretching my faith lately) has been made clear to me.

Happy Thursday everyone! ♥

Thank God it's Thursday... Bukas Friday na... then weekend na! Yahoo! LOL :)

Reading 1 Kings

It’s amazing that the “theme” of my qt (quiet time) and Bible reading are aligned with what was taught to me on my first post this week.

This was not planned by me… But I guess planned by Him.  :)

Just want to share the passage I read earlier:

"If you do whatever I command you and walk in obedience to me and do what is right in my eyes by obeying my decrees and commands, as David my servant did, I will be with you..." -1 Kings 11:38

PMS

I've been doing a lot of thinking if PMS is a valid excuse for ladies to be grumpy or easily irritated... Is it?

I do not know the answer... yet... Need to do research, need to pray more about it and need to ask God for wisdom...

But what I know right now is that I experience being the "grumpy me" on the first day of my period just like today... Hindi ko tuloy na enjoy ang qt ko kasi iritable ako because of dysmenorrhea na sinundan ng head ache... :(

Thank God for pain killers.

Too wise

Authority Challenged

When He entered the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came to Him while He was teaching, and said, "By what authority are You doing these things, and who gave You this authority?"

Jesus said to them, "I will also ask you one thing, which if you tell Me, I will also tell you by what authority I do these things.

"The baptism of John was from what source, from heaven or from men?" And they began reasoning among themselves, saying, "If we say, 'From heaven,' He will say to us, 'Then why did you not believe him?'

"But if we say, 'From men,' we fear the people; for they all regard John as a prophet."

And answering Jesus, they said, "We do not know." He also said to them, "Neither will I tell you by
what authority I do these things.

What have I learned from this passage?

God is too wise to be mistaken.

There is none, not even one, who is like Him.

How can we (believers) relate to the Pharisees?

Believers, we all have heard that, we all know that—God is too wise... He is omniscient! But sometimes—uhh, okay fine—most of the time, we take it for granted. We act as if we can outwit the Lord with our decisions, that we go on ahead of Him and insist on what we want before we seek what He really wants...  Neglecting the fact that what He wants for us is the BEST.

"...God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." -Romans 12:2

On preferring His will

To start off with my one week challenge, let me greet all the mothers in the world:

Belated Happy Mother’s Day yesterday!

Specially to all the Single Moms-- you are true heroes!
The Lord is looking after you and your kiddo! :)

I wasn’t able to text every mom that I know because I was watching the Pacquiao and Mosley fight (will post a separate entry on that. Hehe).

Now, allow me to share to you what I learned in my quiet time this morning.

I asked the Lord to change my heart as I’ve been struggling with pride and anger and so He led me to read Ephesians chapter 4... I wish I have the time right now to post everything that He told me but I don’t, I suggest you go read on that chapter and chew on it firsthand na lang, much better yun! Hehe.

What I want to share is short and sweet:

As a believer, it is basic that we know God’s will... Those of which are clearly stated in His revealed will—the Bible. But the question is, do we prefer God’s will all the time?

The underlined question was the question of my mentor (Carol Felipe) to all of us yesterday during our Growth Group Leaders’ training.

After reading Ephesians 4, I prayed to God, asked for forgiveness and cleansing from my sins and plead once more—Lord, I want more of You!

So He led me to read on the next Chapter and His voice became all the more clearer:

“…find out what pleases the Lord.”Ephesians 5:10

I thank and praise Him for meeting me where I am, for meeting the deepest longing of my heart, for dealing with my sin with His righteousness, and for giving me His peace that surpasses all understanding.

The challenge for me is to live out what He just taught me. And I guess posting it here will make me accountable to do so. Do pray for me and with me kapatid.

To God be the glory! :)
