Happy tears

Nakakatuwa talaga si God.

His timing is really PERFECT! Walang palya…

Just when I thought nagkulang ako sa pagminister sa isang taong ito, just when I thought bad testimony kasi ako and I failed God…

He encouraged me and affirmed me that I’ve done what has to be done and He saw that. And that He sees little things I do that the world doesn’t even know I do, nor do they know it exists…

Thank You God for that quick and sweet chat with her.

Thank You that I heard from her the words I never thought I would hear before she leaves—Thank you Rajsh!—ayan na naiiyak na ako!

…Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. –Matthew 6:4
…Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. –Matthew 6:6
…but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. –Matthew 6:18

For now, my reward is His Words of affirmation through her. Thank You, God! I'm just overjoyed and really feel loved by You...

Thank you too, dear.. I will really miss you! I will keep you in my prayers...

Hugged by the Lord

I was crying when I woke up early morning, yesterday, I texted John about it so he could pray with me and then went on with having my quiet time...

I was listening to the song "Your Grace Still Amazes me" and really weeping and pouring out my heart to Him until He spoke, encouraged and "hugged" me through His words:

"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood. And you have forgotten that word of encouragement that addresses you as sons:

"My son, do not make light of the Lord's discipline,
and do not lose heart when he rebukes you,
because the Lord disciplines those he loves,
and he punishes everyone he accepts as a son."

Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father? If you are not disciplined (and everyone undergoes discipline), then you are illegitimate children and not true sons. Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of our spirits and live! Our fathers disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, that we may share in his holiness. No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.

Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees. "Make level paths for your feet," so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed.

** Please pray for me and with me... **

crying out loud

Just thinking and crying out loud:

Sana dumating din yung araw na pag may problema tayo harapin natin at wag nating takasan. At wag na tayong magpalusot at mag-justify but rather admit our mistake(s), repent, forgive, ask forgiveness, move one and heal...

Tama na. Sobra na. Nakakasawa na. Napakasakit na...

"If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives." -1 John 1:8-10

"My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me..." -John 17:20-23

.sigh.

My status message for today:

For the things that matter... God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever!

I hate the day today.
If not for His grace, I would have just locked myself in my silent sanctuary.

Thank You, for praying for me always... Thank You, for Your grace, thank You, for Your love...

HÜG me Lord, please. ☺

interesting conversation

I had an interesting conversation yesterday morning with a relative. I believe it was one of God's answer to my prayer (not about my previous post though) about a personal and sensitive issue...

Thank You Lord, truly You are amazing God! You are the Lord who answers prayer... Thank You for another divine appointment!

To you dearest,

I now know better.
I now have a clearer idea why are you like who you are right now.
I now can say that I know where you are coming from.

I wish we could really talk about things.
I wish you'd be honest to yourself and to all of us.
I wish you'd give time to spend time to listen, and I mean listen.

...It will come, I know, in His time!
I love you and I miss you.
;-)

I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.

Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.

-Psalm 27:13-14

No one else will do!

This was part of my prayer early this morning:

"I want to just hug You and be hugged by You... all the time!
No one else will do...
No one else will satisfy...
The more I think about You, the more I am wanting You!
I love You, Lord and I'm so sorry for all the things I've done against You..."

I am still on my vulnerable moment. Please continue to pray with me and for me. God is good and in control!

Ang hirap! (hehe)

Trials and Temptations

2Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. 6But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; 8he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does.

9The brother in humble circumstances ought to take pride in his high position. 10But the one who is rich should take pride in his low position, because he will pass away like a wild flower. 11For the sun rises with scorching heat and withers the plant; its blossom falls and its beauty is destroyed. In the same way, the rich man will fade away even while he goes about his business.

12Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.

13When tempted, no one should say, "God is tempting me." For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; 14but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. 15Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.

16Don't be deceived, my dear brothers. 17Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. 18He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created.

I have mentioned before that our Growth/Bible study group (Connect Agents' of Change or C.A.C.) is going through a series study on the Letter of James. I lead the group in studying verses 2-4 last September 5, 2009 and verses 13-18 last October 17... And I have been telling them that I am experiencing trials and temptations myself (well, lahat naman tayo diba?) and I am having a tough time. Sobrang first hand application sa mga lesson namin ang pinagdadaanan ko. But He remains faithful, nakikita ko ang work Nya and He really is up to something... that I know for sure.

In the mean time, please include me in your prayers... Thanks and God bless!

(PS... I will share some personal notes on our series study some other time. Very interesting ang Bible study namin ever! Feel free to join us every Saturday 6pm at GCF Ortigas.)
