That someday I will be like her:
The Wife of Noble Character
10 A wife of noble character who can find?
She is worth far more than rubies.
11 Her husband has full confidence in her
and lacks nothing of value.
12 She brings him good, not harm,
all the days of her life.
13 She selects wool and flax
and works with eager hands.
14 She is like the merchant ships,
bringing her food from afar.
15 She gets up while it is still dark;
she provides food for her family
and portions for her servant girls.
16 She considers a field and buys it;
out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.
17 She sets about her work vigorously;
her arms are strong for her tasks.
18 She sees that her trading is profitable,
and her lamp does not go out at night.
19 In her hand she holds the distaff
and grasps the spindle with her fingers.
20 She opens her arms to the poor
and extends her hands to the needy.
21 When it snows, she has no fear for her household;
for all of them are clothed in scarlet.
22 She makes coverings for her bed;
she is clothed in fine linen and purple.
23 Her husband is respected at the city gate,
where he takes his seat among the elders of the land.
24 She makes linen garments and sells them,
and supplies the merchants with sashes.
25 She is clothed with strength and dignity;
she can laugh at the days to come.
26 She speaks with wisdom,
and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
27 She watches over the affairs of her household
and does not eat the bread of idleness.
28 Her children arise and call her blessed;
her husband also, and he praises her:
29 "Many women do noble things,
but you surpass them all."
30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.
31 Give her the reward she has earned,
and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.

Our "debut"
March 21, 2010 marked our 18th month together. Yihee! We're just so happy and keep thanking the Lord for His faithfulness to us.
We didn't go out on a date that day since it was also his brother's wedding. He's the best man and I'm one of the bride's maid. Tamang greetings lang kami sa isa't-isa... But I enjoyed our time together and with his whole family.
I have already posted pictures in my multiply account. Here's one of my favorite:
He always does that; I'm so on my "demure-pa-cute" mode tapos sya pampasira at "nasapian" mode. LOL
Anyway, I love you my beloved... 18 months and counting!
Yours truly,
Rajsh

CONNECT - Call Center Agents' Day on March 27, 2010 at 8 a.m. with Ms. Germaine Santos of Campus Crusade for Christ as guest speaker.
Everyone is invited to come, including young professionals who are not from the call center.
The talk will be about being proud of the Filipino heritage based on Biblical perspective. Connect chose this topic mainly because of the nature of their work; that they tend to easily adapt or blend in with the clients' culture (who happen to be foreigners) and so therefore, needed to be reminded of their roots. Connect aims to affirm the call center people that they have not lost their citizenship, despite the fact that they somehow struggle in becoming less of a Filipino because of the influence of the different culture they face at work,
So come, invite your friends!
We will be serving breakfast so it is good to confirm your attendance by texting 0915-314-0144 or 0922-607-3449 or sending an email at gcf_connect@yahoo.com.
God bless.

My Sister in Christ

Ma. Olivia Jill Perez celebrated her birthday on March 26, 2010.
I had the privilege of organizing a simple surprise birthday bash for her during our Bible study meeting.
I contacted her youngest brother, Eric, few days before and asked him to have their family write a simple happy birthday note. When Saturday came, I was surprised that Eric arrived carrying a bouquet of roses, from their mom, then he handed the letters from Jaja and Mico (kapatid din nila) and a bonus letter from their Tita.I am very happy that we were able to make her feel very-very special on her special day! We made Oliv cry (sa sobrang tuwa ha)... Hehe!
My dear sister,I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you... -Ephesians 1:16-18

I am with you rejoicing His faithfulness over the last years. I am overwhelmed to see you grow in your walk and in your love for Him. Tuloy lang ha! Masaya ako na ikaw ang unang binigay sa akin ng Panginoon para sabayan sa spiritual journey, and I am just so grateful for our discipleship-relationship!
Mwuah-mwuah-mwuah! I love you Sis! Happy birthday...

Yeah, amen!

I just want to share a personal lesson--applied in real life, just recently--REALLY tough!
I approached Him and wrestled with Him so He could deal with me accordingly... And I really praise Him for being sooooooo faithful and because indeed, He is the One who enabled (and is enabling) me to do HIS will...
Thank You, my Lord Jesus... My Master, my Savior and my Friend! I love You, more and more...
"In your anger do not sin": Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold." -Ephesians 4:26-27
"If your brother sins against you, go and show him his fault, just between the two of you. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over." -Matthew 18:15
"May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you. May he strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all his holy ones." -1 Thessalonians 3:12-13
"Now about brotherly love we do not need to write to you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love each other." -1 Thessalonians 4:9
